Mrs. Margarita Solis
On May 16, 2022, the CISD Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Mrs. Margarita Solis as assistant principal of McClendon Elementary School.
Mrs. Solis has served in Community ISD for the past 15 years, including the last seven as a Curriculum and Instruction coordinator. She has also worked as a licensed professional counselor.
Mrs. Solis earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from New Mexico State, a Master's of Arts in Community Counseling from St. Mary's, and a Master's in Education Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. She holds Generalist EC-4 English, Bilingual Supplemental Spanish, Principal, Licensed Professional Counselor, and National Certified Counselor certifications.
Mrs. Solis and her family live in Community ISD.
