Adam Arteaga was hired by Community ISD on January 22, 2025 as the new head football coach of Community High School.

Welcome to McClendon Elementary
McClendon Elementary opened its doors in 1998.
The building is named for Carylene McClendon. She taught in Community many years, including serving as a principal while teaching and driving a bus for the district. She was a beloved and respected educator in this community.

Great news McClendon family!
Starting on Thursday, January 12, 2023, McClendon Elementary will have a new, longer road for parents and guardians to use when dropping off and picking up students.
